The Cotswold Way long distance footpath is an ideal way to get close to nature with lovely views over the Severn Valley and the Vale of Evesham.

Scattered across the landscape lie the prettiest villages in the country, their ‘typically English’ character certainly stands out. The honey coloured cottages with narrow winding lanes add charm to these magical communities. There are an abundance of restaurants, welcoming traditional pubs and tea rooms where to can stop off at and enjoy traditional scones, sandwiches and cakes.

The Cotswolds has many secrets waiting to be discovered. The area has been shaped by people for more than 6000 years bringing with it a wealth of history from Archaeology sites to Cathedrals and unspoilt churches. There are an abundance of fascinating historic attractions, changing vastly depending on which parts are visited making it one of England’s most popular areas to explore. Many of the places remain untouched and perfectly preserved right the way through the ages.

The Cotswolds is largely agricultural with regular farmers markets where you can try out the local produce including cheeses, wines, fruits, vegetables, juices, biscuits, beers, meat and fish. There are also a number of arts and crafts stalls and antiques shops across the area…after all, this is what The Cotswold are famous for!

Discover the true romance of the Cotswolds by touring the Romantic Road which will take you along open country roads through breathtaking areas that once inspired many artists, writers and craftspeople.
